Nassau Offshore Fishing Report and Forecast: February 2016

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]ahoo season is in full swing and they are biting as expected. The fronts were a little late but that didn’t stop the bite as there have been some ‘hoos in the 60-plus-pound range being caught.

Even a few mahi are in the mix, that’s why it is good to have a couple of light tackle rods ready to deploy when they show up.

The ledge is where all the action is and slow trolling or high speed trolling with lures is the ticket for catching these speedsters.

As February rolls around we expect a mix bag of pelagics. So come on down to Nassau/Paradise Island and get in on the action on the Reel Deal….
