[dropcap]A[/dropcap]s we get to the last month of the year, the wahoo fishing heats up with the all the cold fronts moving in. The fish aren’t as big as we would like them to be, but that will change as we get to that ripe time of year.

Trolling is the preferred method for wahoo, either high speeding with lures or trolling a little slower with baits. Either can produce good catches.

The fish are ranging from 12 to 35 pounds but the stories on the dock are there are bigger ones out there, but they can’t be kept on the hook.

Because you never know what is going to hit your line, you always have to be prepared for the biggest fish of your lifetime. So as December rolls in, I am sure those nice size wahoos will be right there waiting for you and me, so tight lines everybody.
