[dropcap]J[/dropcap]uly has been a bit slow with a few yellowfin tuna and a few tiger grouper. The yellowfin tuna have not been as plentiful this month and August will be slow as well. The main highlight fishing-wise for August is lobster season opens on the first, so anyone that loves to do spearfishing, this is the perfect month for it. These can be caught using Hawaiian sling and spear or pole spear. Spear guns are illegal in the Bahamas so the pre-mentioned two rigs are the preference. Lobster can be caught throughout the reefs. And, as stated before, yellowfin tuna will be still around, but not as much.
