North Eleuthera Fishing Report and Forecast: April 2015

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]arch as been a very successful month for mahi-mahi and yellowfin tuna. Also there have been some wahoo caught. April should be a very exciting month as mahi-mahi season will be in full swing. Yellowfin tuna and mahi-mahi can be caught during the months of April and May. These can be caught at different points of the bar.  Shallow Ground, Pinnacle and James Point will be very hot during these months. Tuna and mahi can be caught trolling with colorful skirts and ballyhoo and cedar plugs, or you can use live bait. Mutton snapper will also be around in April and May. These can be caught in depths of 20- 60 feet of water using squid or live pilchards. You can also deep drop for red snapper or black snapper. Sometimes you might even catch a huge black grouper.
