Lobster season is in full swing. There are a few yellowfin tuna around and these are showing up around Dutch Bar, James Point and Shallow Ground Points. They can be caught either with lures or live bait or with trolling skirts or plugs. Live bait is the preference when it comes to yellowfin tuna. There are still a couple of wahoo around but the should get a lot better once the water starts to cool down. These can be caught either high speed trolling or trolling skirts rigged with ballyhoo. The yellowtail snapper bite will be very good in September. Fish in depths from 50 to 100 feet of water using a chum bag and flat lining with squid.
