Summer is here and the summer is always a great time to be on the water. The fishing is good and there are a lot of fish to fish for. Most of the fish are in schools or large groups because the summer is when most of the flats and inshore fish are spawning, including bonefish, jacks, snappers, permit and barracuda. So this is a great time to fish on the flats, in the channels, or on the reef. School is out, so this would be a great time to get the kids outside for some outdoors activities. They would love fishing the channels for bottom fish.

Because of the heat, many people fish in the morning and swim in the afternoon, like snorkeling the reef and blue holes, or even pulling up to a beach for a picnic. It’s all here in East Grand Bahama. You can have it your way!
