You have to enter The NYS WINTER CLASSIC!!
The NYS Winter Classic www.nyswinterclassic.com is a two-month long derby (January and February) that allows you to fish ALL waters in the state, any type of fishing, with a wide assortment of prizes. If you are going to ice-fish or Steelhead fish this winter, you should enter the NYS Winter Classic. The prizes are amazing and every fish you catch can win you NICE prizes. In fact, just joining up for $25 could get you a sign-up gear bonus and will make you eligible to win a brand new ice shanty, there is so many prizes to win! There are 56 statewide weigh-in stations and each location will be raffling off an Ice-shanty, and every fish you weigh-in increases your chances to win.
The derby runs all January and February and you can enter any time before or during the event. Any waters in NY State are eligible and both weekly, monthly, species specific prizes are given away liberally.
