Freedom Boat Club (FBC), the world’s largest members-only boating club, is getting members excited for the 2016 season with some big news. The Carrick Group, Freedom Boat Club’s largest franchisee, announced the relocation from their Danvers location to the Beverly Port Marina expected to take place in the spring of 2016.

The Beverly location will provide members to more direct access to the open water and a larger selection of casual dining restaurants in a quarter mile radius, all while providing members with the same service and commitment they are accustomed to receiving. “We are excited to be able to offer this option to our members. This move will not only give us room to grow and continue to add to our fleet, it also will cut down our member’s no wake time on the river by 90 minutes round trip, adding to their net boating time out on the water” says Freedom Boat Club franchise co-owner Matt Carrick.” The Beverly Port Marina location will be home to 8-10 new boats including an array of Key West Center Consoles.

The Carrick Group were recipients of the Pacesetter Award for the Top 8 FBC Nationwide.

The big news doesn’t stop there – in addition to the relocation, Freedom Boat Club also announced the addition of a Charlestown location to their nine already existing locations in Massachusetts, including Boston, Beverly, Quincy, Hingham, Scituate, Chatham, Falmouth, East Dennis and West Dennis. The new Charlestown site marks the third addition of a new location in only five months. Previously, the club opened its popular Chatham location in the summer of 2015 for its members. “This new Charlestown site will provide Freedom Boat Club members living north of Boston easier access to Boston Harbor without having to travel into downtown Boston.” says Freedom Boat Club franchise co-owner Matt Carrick. “We now have 4 locations and over 40 boats on Boston Harbor!” The Charlestown location will start the 2016 season with five brand new boats including several Key West and a brand new Bennington pontoon boat.

As a member of Freedom Boat Club, you can take advantage of the nearly 100 locations nationwide. Along the East Coast, a new franchise debuted in New Smyrna Beach, Florida this past June now gives members over 30 FBC franchise locations in the state of Florida alone. Other 2015 recently-launched franchise locations include Fort Lauderdale, Stuart and Deerfield Beach, Florida, along with Brick, New Jersey, St. Joseph, Michigan and Huron, Ohio. Additional new Freedom Boat Club locations confirmed to open for the 2016 season include Lake George, New York, Deep River, Connecticut, along with Miami and a second corporate-club location in Ft. Myers Beach.

“The idea behind Freedom Boat Club has really taken off. I have a lot of members who are excited to fully take advantage of the local site and the Beverly Port Marina location, as well as the many opportunities available to them around the country,” Carrick says. Carrick Group FBC members get unlimited access to each of the 10 locations under their umbrella in the Bay State – from Beverly to Chatham, Cape Cod.
