Saltwater Sisters Lady Angler’s Tournament will host a Pre-Party and Captain’s Fashion Show on September 10th from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Twisted Tuna in Port Salerno. The event is one of many parties leading up to the 31st Annual Lady Angler’s Tournament to be held September 23 and 24 at Pirate’s Cove Resort & Marina.

The party at The Twisted Tuna will include live music, contests and drink specials. Guests are asked to bring bikini tops to tie on palm trees at Pirate’s Cove Resort and Marina. There is also a boat/motor/trailer raffle that includes a 14-foot skiff donated by Billfish Boatworks, a Mercury 9.9 HP 4-stroke outboard donated by Riverwatch Marina, an aluminum trailer donated by Ameratrail Custom Trailers and a boat wrap by Gill Media. Tickets for the raffle are $25 each or 5 for $100. Guests can also register for the Tournament at this event.  The Twisted Tuna is located at 4290 SE Salerno Rd, Stuart, FL.

The Saltwater Sisters Lady Angler’s Tournament is a major fundraiser for the Stuart Sailfish Club to raise money for Friends in Pink, a local organization that provides financial assistance for those on the Treasure Coast battling breast cancer; Windsor Community Angels, an organization that pays for free mammograms for Treasure Coast residents; and the Sailfish Club’s Scholarship program.

There will be a captain’s party the night before the Tournament on Friday, September 23 with a costume contest and live entertainment. The Tournament itself, on Saturday September 24, will once again include water gun fights, costume and boat decorating contests and a boat parade. Following the tournament will be an awards dinner, a fabulous live and silent auction and entertainment and dancing.
