Kiteboarding refers to using a “twin tip” board which is similar to a wakeboard and performs equally whether you are riding it with the left or right tip facing forward. Kitesurfing refers to using a directional board which is surfboard that is designed to handle the extra stress. Anglers on the Treasure Coast fished to benefit the troubled youth of Martin County's Project LIFT in the 7th annual Michael Shields Memorial Inshore Open on September 25 and 26. The Tournament opened with a Captains Reception at River Palm Cottages in Jensen Beach. With over 400 in attendance, 176 anglers, 144 fished caught and over $35,000 in net proceeds to Project LIFT, the tournament was a huge success!Editorial StaffDec 2nd, 2015
Stuart Sailfish Club’s 30th annual Saltwater Sisters Lady Angler Tournament raised thousands of dollars for local charities.
