Capt. Robert L. Brodie has fished these waters (rivers, bayous, bays, Mississippi Sound, Louisiana marsh, barrier islands, and the Gulf of Mexico) extensively for over 50-years, and is one of the most knowlegable and experienced guides in the south. Born and raised on the shores of the Back Bay of Biloxi, Capt. Brodie spent practically every day of the first 40-years of his life duck hunting and fishing on these waters. As an accomplished and award-winning outdoor writer, Capt. Brodie has inked over 1000 published articles on the state, regional, and national level including 32 magazines and major newspapers with most articles pertaining to his own adventures. Thousands of his outdoor pictures including numerous cover shots have been published in those magazines too. Brodie has also been an active member of (SEOPA) Southeastern Outdoor Writers Association, and (OWAA) Outdoor Writers Association of America. Now, he focuses his entire time on being a year-round full-time light tackle fishing and duck hunting guide here in south Mississippi. Brodie strives on being polite, professional, and productive, and it shows day in and day out on his consistent catches and his hundreds of repeat clientele.
