No one creates pelagic fish art quite like Carey Chen. He is known for not only being an amazing artist but also for being extremely generous to his community. In June Carey and Chase N’ Tailz Fishing Tournament teamed up once again to bring the fundraiser Canvas & Cocktailz to Artlantic Fine Art Gallery in Jupiter. This event brings fishing enthusiasts and Carey Chen fans together for a night of painting, dinner, & cocktailz to raise money for needy families with very sick children.
This event is known to sell out quickly and this year was no different. The guests were taught some of Carey’s tricks to re-create his famous painting “Mahi Hook Up”, while enjoying dinner catered by Santana Pizza in Jupiter and dessert by Small Cakes, also in Jupiter. Carey’s thorough direction along with individual tutoring throughout the night led to some incredible final projects.
They say that successful events leave their guests wanting more and that is what Canvas & Cocktailz does.
