Cape Ann
Cape Ann’s restaurant, Mile Marker One, is equipped with enjoyable outdoor seating and an exceptional view.

Cape Ann’s restaurant, Mile Marker One, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant serves weekly specials and daily crowd-pleasing favorites, such as crab cake benedict for breakfast, blackened mahi tacos during lunch hours and traditional surf and turf at dinnertime. Customers are able to enjoy their meals outside, on a bridge deck that wraps around the restaurant and looks out upon the marina. The bar has a wide selection of beer, wine, cocktails and frozen drinks – perfect on a hot, August afternoon.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights during the month of August and continuing into the fall, live musicians populate Cape Ann’s. Boaters are able to enjoy their cocktails and dinner while listening to live music. During Sunday mornings, Mari Martin belts her heartfelt song covers while consumers eat breakfast, in an event called Breakfast Blues Buffet.

In the Aqua Room, Cape Ann visitors are able to swim in a large indoor pool and relax in the resort’s Jacuzzi. Floor-to-ceiling windows and luscious plants surround the room, while the Aqua bar serves delicious beverages. A balcony called the Sky Walk Lounge overlooks the pool and provides a view of the Annisquam River. This area is perfect for children’s pool parties or adult gatherings. The Compass Room is another perfect area for celebrations. This room overlooks the marina’s docks and features a private bar and entrance. If family or friends want to get together for a holiday party, shower, or rehearsal dinner, this is the place to go. Going along with this, if a group is interested in acquiring a large tent for a wedding reception, cocktail party or corporate event, the Waterfront Pavilion is oftentimes available. Here, enjoy a drink or meal (catered by Mile Marker One) while looking out to the waterfront on the south side of the resort.

If you find yourself desperately not wanting to leave Cape Ann’s and are longing for a little more time at the resort, feel free to book a room at the marina’s hotel. Almost every room has a view of the water and comes equipped with comfortable beds and luxurious linen, flat screen TVs, free wifi, air conditioning and several other amenities.

The main attractions of the marina are the docking and storage services. Fishermen are offered an hourly rate to keep their boats docked for a short period of time, or they’re able to purchase a seasonal pass to keep their boats at the marina long term. There are specific rates for boaters who would like to have their vessels stored at the marina, especially when the disastrous winter weather hits. Electronics, gear, lines, anchors and other equipment are available to purchase at the resort’s store.
