For three big days the Bass & Saltwater Fishing Expo brings together the finest products and services the fishing industry has to offer. Each year more than 100 local, regional and national companies showcase tackle, rods and reels, apparel, maps, charters, sunglasses, boats, motors, electronics, knives… well you get the picture, everything to get you out on the water “Rigged & Ready” for the season.
And, just to make sure you make the most of your fishing trip, the show has brought together a top-notch panel of national and regional pros to share their secrets on “When, Where and How” to have the best fishing trip possible. Fishing season is right around the corner, and this is the place to get the tackle box replenished and the mind refreshed on the latest and greatest the industry has on the market today. Many hard-to-find products will be available at this year’s show, but you’d better act quickly. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
More than 18 marine dealers will participate in this year’s event, offering the lowest pricing seen in years. There will be huge discounts on 2014 and 2015 fishing boats—everything from the $500 aluminum jonboat to the $100,000 “fishing machine.” Most units are “rigged and ready” for action. There has never been a better time for the boat buyer than right now. You’ll never see pricing this low again.
The 2015 seminar program continues a tradition of being one of the best offerings in the country. Three separate rooms running simultaneously will offer tips and techniques on various fishing interests. Be sure to check out the schedule, and remember that your admission is good all three days. So plan to return each day to catch all the action.
The North Carolina Bass Federation returns in full force this year with the 2015 KIDS ZONE. Youth anglers can try their skills at casting at targets to gain points. Try your luck in the casting tank with prizes awarded based on accuracy. Be sure to stop by and see how you can get your youth involved in this great organization with one goal in mind… Get Kids Hooked On Fishing. The Mountain Trout Pond Simulator returns this year with more fun for the young and young at heart. Swimming along with hundreds of trout will be hundreds of channel catfish. Catch a “Cat” for a chance at prizes or catch a trout and have your choice of keeping or releasing.
