It’s inevitable; we will have a few periods of above freezing temperatures this winter! When the thawing begins and water temperatures rise our rivers will awaken! Often, it only takes a notch or two of movement in the mercury to get the nymph or larval stages of our insects to pull out of their cold water slump!
