Fly of the Month: Snow Drift Caddis

fly-of-the-month

It’s inevitable; we will have a few periods of above freezing temperatures this winter! When the thawing begins and water temperatures rise our rivers will awaken! Often, it only takes a notch or two of movement in the mercury to get the nymph or larval stages of our insects to pull out of their cold water slump! When you’re busting through the snow drifts give this caddis pattern a try.
