Moriyuki Kinai Sets New All-Tackle Length World Record Snakehead

 

On February 28, 2024, Moriyuki Kinai was fishing at Khao Chuk Lake in Thailand when he caught an impressive 97-centimeter snakehead. This remarkable catch earned him the IGFA All-Tackle Length World Record for the species. Using a crankbait, Moriyuki managed to lure the massive snakehead. After an intense 8-minute battle, he successfully landed the fish, measured its length with his official IGFA Measuring Device, and safely released it back into the water.
