caught this 43.5 inches Muskellunge in New River.
Early fog on the river gave way to a beautiful sunny morning. I cast my whopper plopper up into a shallow bend in the river into the shade. As I started my retrieve from the shadows to the sunshine on the water a dark object appeared beneath it. I stopped the retrieve and the fish just crushed the lure! She came out of the water 2x and finally I landed her. What a fish this truly is.
