Good news for our local anglers! The fish have been biting really well on the southeast side of the lake. The Largemouth Bass have been chasing shiners just inside the cuts off the rim ditch. The cuts at Dead River, Boy Scout Cut, the First Dynamite Hole, and Houseboat Cut have all been producing great results! Our anglers have been having a lot of luck with both artificial and live bait but most of our locals have reported catching the larger fish on wild shiners. The Speck fisherman are also limiting-out and have been using mostly minnows to haul in their large catches. With the cooler weather upon us, there is no better time to enjoy an exciting day on the lake.
