Stuart Florida Inshore Fishing Report and Forecast: May 2015

This month snook will be moving to the inlets and near shore reefs in big numbers getting ready for the summer spawn. We have seen big snook running the mangrove and channel edges near the St. Lucie Inlet with the smaller males right behind them. Most of the snook are over 32 inches so nailing a keeper is tough. If, you want aggressive top water hits, this is the time to throw your Zara Spook, Skitterwalk or D.O.A. Bait Busters at first light near mangrove points, under docks, potholes in the grassflats and other snooky haunts. Apr 27th, 2015
