[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ugust will be HOT. The mahi will be on the feed hardcore in the stream. It seems as though the king mackerel action is late this year and should be picking up in August. The surf will be full of nice-sized pompano. If you get out early you should be able to pick up some nice Spanish out of the surf early. Be looking for the big flounder on the nearshore wrecks and reefs with bucktails and Gulp. There will be some nearshore chances for sails if you know how to do it right. Naked dink ballys or live bait on kite lines work nicely. Ladyfish action action will be in full swing at night where there are shrimp and current. The VuDu is about as close to a real shrimp as I can find and the ladys love em.
