Our volunteer Waterkeeper Rangers have done a great job the past year, sharing observations of water conditions, algae blooms, fish kills, wildlife in distress and testing for waterborne bacteria. Most of our Rangers have completed our Academy training program where we discuss the underlying science, management and policy issues that are key to keeping the waters of southwest Florida healthy. We will begin another Ranger Academy Course during April so if you have an interest feel free to join us. There is no fee and no prior experience is needed, just a willingness to pitch in and be part of our team aimed at making southwest Florida’s waters better.
