caught this 85.5 lbs Cobia in Gulf of Mexico. Orange beach AL.
My husband and 2 of his buddies went out. Overcast day. Found a slick with some grass mats. I was throwing a jig and we saw this cobia. I baited a live cigar minnow casted just over the grass flat, bail open and he came right to. Let him eat for a little then flipped the bail. Took 1.5 hours to land it on our Cape Horn.
