Guana Partners Club® has announced the launch of the HITCH-A-RIDE® program, beginning September 15, 2014. In addition to Guana Partner Club members enjoying year-round, exclusive access to private aircraft, travel between the Bahamas, Florida, and Southeastern United States with 4-star level vacation resort services in the Abaco, Bahamas, complete with private access to the membership private motor yacht “BOAT DRINKS”, members will now be able to HITCH-A-RIDE® with other Guana Partners Club® members regularly between St Augustine, Florida and Marsh Harbour, Abaco Bahamas, as well as other destinations.
The HITCH-A-RIDE® fee schedule ranges from $2,000 for one year with a reservation fee of $199 per person to $25,000 for four years, with a reservation fee of $49 per person. The program covers everyone in the family household or those who travel with the primary member. The HITCH-A-RIDE® program is based on availability, and is subject to a limited number of seats.
Membership to the club also allows access to ownership in Guana Marina Village, an exclusive island resort getaway located in Great Guana Cay Abaco, Bahamas.

John Hemingway to Join Wahoo Smackdown V Anglers
Following in the footsteps of his famous grandfather, author John Hemingway this year has run with the bulls in Pamplona and will be soon fishing the big game grounds off Bimini—the same tiny Bahamas out island where Papa Hemingway chased marlins and tuna aboard his beloved “Pilar” in the 1930s.
John Hemingway will return to Bimini, this time to chase wahoo as the Grand Marshal of the popular Wahoo Smackdown V series, hosted by the Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina in Alice Town.
“My family has been coming to Bimini since the 1930s,” said Hemingway, who grew up in Miami and now lives in Montreal. “My father (Gregory Hemingway) came with my grandfather as a young boy on his boat the “Pilar” and I was first brought to the island in 1960 as a newborn with my mother and my father on a Chalk’s flight from Miami. We have always fished here, for tuna, marlin, sailfish and grouper and it’s a great pleasure for me to help officiate as Grand Marshal this Wahoo Smackdown Tournament.”
The 54-year-old Hemingway will be fishing with Tournament Director Captain Chase Camacho aboard “Miss Kethleen II” in the tournament, which is scheduled for November 13-14, 2014.
The entry fee for Wahoo Smackdown V (which includes four anglers per boat) is $1,250 ($100 for each additional angler). At stake is $30,000 in cash and prizes to be won.
