caught this 35.5" Permit in Southwestern Florida.
We were fishing south of Marco Island in a pass during the outgoing tide.
I cast into an eddie and hooked into this huge permit.
It was an epic battle as we chased it with the boat and finally wore down the fish enough to land it.
I only had a 20lb test flourocarbon leader so I had to play the fish gently.
It was a fish of a lifetime.
