Sinclair Marina, in Milledgeville on Lake Sinclair, has undergone some big changes. Gone are the days when the lake’s oldest marina looked like the lake’s oldest marina. Completely renovated by Athens-based Classic City Marinas, Sinclair Marina is hosting its grand re-opening this month to showcase its new state-of-the-art facilities.
“We took 90 percent of everything down and rebuilt it,” said Jason Lattin, General Manager of Sinclair Marina. “We took the oldest marina on the lake and revitalized it into the newest, most advanced marina on the lake.”’
For fishermen, Sinclair Marina is the area’s only TRACKER® Elite dealer, with a brand new showroom showcasing a complete line of fishable and affordable TRACKER®, NITRO® and MAKO® fishing boats. “What we’re trying to do is make boating more enjoyable and more affordable for everyone,” said Lattin. “You don’t need to go buy a half-million dollar house on the lake to enjoy boating.”
Lattin said the whole mission of the marina is to make boating easier to enjoy. You could trailer the boat back and forth from the lake each time you want to get out on the water.
