The Boynton Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) proudly announces the 6th Annual Haunted Pirate Fest & Mermaid Splash on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22 in downtown Boynton Beach. This Free fest is located (129 E Ocean Ave.) along E. Ocean Avenue between Seacrest Blvd. and Federal Highway from 11 am -9 pm on Saturday and 11 am-6 pm on Sunday.
As legend has it, ghostly pirates of the shipwrecks off the coast of Boynton Beach emerge from the sea to take over Boynton Beach. Downtown will be transformed into Hobb’s Cove, a bustling old-world port brimming with bustling pirates and Merlandia, a mysterious oasis where the sirens of the sea lure you into the depths with their song. This lively event features 12 stages of continuous entertainment, live music, children’s activities, pirate stunt shows, live mermaids and more. The Haunted Pirate Fest drew thousands of people of all ages to Downtown Boynton Beach last year to enjoy a variety of swashbuckling adventures. The Boynton Beach CRA invites everyone to participate in the “pirate/mermaid nostalgic maritime” theme and come in costume to celebrate Boynton’s signature event!
