SCUBA enthusiasts might want to check this one out. Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center is planning a Smalltooth Sawfish Expedition June 17-24, 2015 to Central Andros. Limited to 12 guests, the group will explore Neal’s secret sawfish “honey hole” and hundreds of silky sharks, and maybe even some oceanic white tips. Sawfish are some of the most threatened species of fish in the world. Smalltooth sawfish were once commonly seen from North Carolina to Texas and throughout the Caribbean, but today the Everglades and the western side of Andros Island in The Bahamas are some of the only remaining places where they can reliably be found.
