Gary Waingrow, Tournament Director for Bass Fishing Kids Inc., shared the 2014 Palm Beach County vs. Broward County results from the Nov. 1 faceoff at Quiet Waters Park in Broward County Fla. Only 1.4 pounds separated the two teams, with Broward County coming in at 17.14 pounds and Palm Beach County at 15.74 lbs.

“This year has been our best so far. We have had an average of 40 to 60 kids competing in all qualifying tournaments,” said Waingrow. “We expect this number to continue to grow. In 2008, Palm Beach County and Savannah Kids Bass Trail came on board.”

Watch your Coastal Angler Magazine for the start of the 2015 tournament season, which typically begins in February and March. There are sure to be great prizes, lots of bass-fishing fun and some stiff competition again next year.
