The Bimini Big Game Club is hosting an end-of-summer family weekend August 16-19.
Organizers say to bring your fishing and diving gear, the kids, but most importantly a sense of adventure.
Activities for the weekend will include:
- A welcome reception with Rum Punch and appetizers
- A treasure hunt for the kids
- A two-hour cruise on the glass bottom boat Bimini Blue
- A Best Catch and Grill Contest for the adults
Prizes, according to Diana Weber, Director of Marketing for the Big Game Club, will include a complimentary two-night stay in the Big Game Club’s Hemingway Suite, plus a boat slip in the marina.
In addition to the scheduled activities, the Big Game Club can also arrange deepwater and backcountry fishing charters, diving (both scuba and snorkeling), kayaking, paddleboarding and kiteboarding for guests.
The historic 51-room resort overlooks a 75-slip marina, capable of accommodating boats up to 145 linear feet. Scheduled air access is offered by Silver Airways, IBC Airways, Western Air (Bimini via Nassau), and Tropic Ocean Airways.
