I caught this 22 pounds and 43 inch Black drum in Ceder Key Florida.
Silas is a 12 year old North Central Florida native. His dedication to learning the art of fishing has been nothing short of impressive. He has spent countless hours researching all the important information to snag a BIG fish! And boy did he surprise all of us when he reeled in this Big boy black drum all by himself!
At 22 pounds and 42 inches long this fish was almost a third of Silas’s size!
He used a Penn wrath fishing reel with 15 pound high vise yellow braid. He chose live shrimp for his bait. This fish was released after the photos. His Mom, Dad, step parents, brother, sisters, cousins,and all the families are so proud of Him!
I guess you could say Silas is officially “hooked” after this sunny Saturday trophy!
