The 35th Annual Charleston Boat Show will run January 23-25 at the Charleston Area Convention Center.
“Boating, fishing and all things water is really what this show is all about. It’s an annual reunion of people who share the same passion and love a great deal,” said JBM & Associates owner, Jacqui Bomar. “We have been producing this show for 14 years, and it is fascinating to watch the excitement on everyone’s faces as they peruse through the event. It’s like 10,000 kids in one giant candy store.”
The show has become synonymous with delivering great bargains on boats and marine accessories, entertainment and education for everyone, from the seasoned mariner to entire families. With a rich history of offering “something for everyone,” the show has evolved from a boat show to a highly anticipated, long-standing tradition.
The region’s premier boat dealers will feature the marine industry’s newest powerboats including: sport cruisers, motor and express yachts, sport fishing boats, center console fishing boats, bass boats, bow riders, deck and aluminum boats, ski and pontoon boats, runabouts, bay boats, shallow water flat skiffs, and family cruisers.
In addition, more than 100 exhibitors will be on-site showcasing a wide range of products and services.
Highlights at The Charleston Boat Show include the Coastal Fishing Expo featuring Mike DelVisco and the Anglers’ Academy, sponsored by Coastal Angler Magazine, knot tying demonstrations, Fastrack Entertainment micro reality stock car system, The Floaty Boat, face painting and bouncy houses.
The doors open Friday, Jan. 23 noon to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9 for adults, $5 for military personnel, $4 for kids ages 4-12 and free for children 3 and younger.
