Capt. Mike was practically born in the waters surrounding the MS Gulf Coast. Fishing and exploring from the majestic backwater bayous to the beautiful crystal clear water of our barrier islands for 30 years. One of the most versatile captains on the Coast; catching bass, redfish, tarpon, and speckled trout back in the bayou to Tripletail, cobia, sharks and many other saltwater species near shore. Fort Bayou Charters operates out of Mikey’s on the Bayou seafood and oyster bar. There Capt. Mike fillets your fresh catch which can be prepared in the restaurant (the only charter on the coast to offer this convenience).
