Great weather and lake conditions produced excellent fishing for the first tournament of the 2016 Season. Forty-three teams competed in this first of six events catching a total of 171 fish for a total tournament weight of 565.1 lbs. Thirty- one boats produced a 5-fish limit. The top team of Chris Crow & Ken Karol weighed in 5-fish for a total of 25.01 lbs. Second place was the team of Mike Holland & Kermit Russel with a 5-fish weight of 24.82 lbs. Overall there were nine teams with weights over 20 lbs. The Big Fish of the day was a nice 8.37 lb fish caught by Mike Holland. The next tournament will be held on May 14th at C. Scott Driver Park.
