caught this 205 lbs Thresher Shark in Atlantic Ocean outside Moriches Inlet, NY.
On June 26th, 2021 the Three Barrel Sport Fishing Team of John, Paul, David and John out of Center Moriches NY, placed 3rd in the Great Gun Angler Shark Tournament in their custom 1994 Grady White Sailfish. Fishing roughly 15 miles offshore outside of Moriches Inlet, Long Island, NY in roughly 125 ft of water, landed a 205lb Thresher Shark, not wanting to bring a green thresher to the boat, the fight lasted about 45 minutes, with a lot of maneuvering the thresher breach out of the water twice during the fight. For Captain John Frame and Mate David Frame, this was extra special since their father used to fish this Tournament when they were kids back in the 70's and 80's, so it was nice to have the family at the dock with a fish to hang.
