The Big Rock board of directors is pleased to welcome Donna Hardy as the new Keli Wagner Lady Angler tournament director for the upcoming 2014 KWLA tournament which will take place June 6, 2014.
The Big Rock Keli Wagner tournament is a one-day billfish release tournament held the week before Big Rock begins. Proceeds from this tournament are donated to the local Raab Cancer Clinic for patient comfort and care.
“We were so happy to have Donna assist with both tournaments this past year and are excited to have her assume the leadership role in the Keli Wagner, commented Big Rock Tournament Director Crystal Hesmer.
Donna has a unique connection to many of Carteret County’s female shoppers as the past manager of Etc. Ladies Clothing in Morehead City, N.C. for 18 years. She brings retail experience, marketing abilities and a real sense of enthusiasm for the ladies tournament.
“I am very excited to be involved in such an amazing organization as Big Rock”, Donna noted. I am really looking very forward to this exciting new chapter in my life and hoping to fulfill the position as KWLA Tournament Director to the fullest of my ability.”
Donna will also be assuming a larger role in the retail aspect of the entire tournament umbrella for Big Rock and the KWLA as she focuses on the retail store, distribution, and sales.
Donna and her husband Jackie have a home in Carteret County and spend their spare time on their farm in LaGrange, NC.
