Highlands Bass Anglers Tournament Trail | May 14, 2016
Venue: Lake Placid
Lake Placid hosted the club’s event for May and the skies were blue all day with little to no wind. Congratulations to the impressive 3-5 fish limit caught by Joe Conley and Norman Riggles that secured the big fish pot and first place. The bag was anchored with a 7.55lb beauty and totaled 20.73lb. Second place was taken by the team of John Bennett and Dick Morgan. They brought 13.53lb to the scale. As the norm for Lake Placid, the bigger fish were caught offshore in deeper water. Next month the club returns to the shallower waters as Lake Josephine is the next event to be held on June 11th. Thanks to all members that participated and see you next month!
