It’s More Than Fishing

by Capt. Rodney Raffield

Hi Coastal Anglers, Capt. Rodney with EBE here with another report from the beautiful Everglades National Park. Fishing has been pretty good here with good numbers of snook, Trout and reds being caught in the Islands. We are still seeing some tarpon, but I have not been targeting these fish, as my anglers prefer other species. Besides fishing, the wildlife such as dolphin, manatee, sea turtles, and native birds has been incredible. Birds such as spoonbills and ibis are as plentiful as I can ever remember seeing them this time of year.  Remember folks, it is much more than just a fishing trip, it is an Experience. Hot bait this past month has been Mr. Wiffelure soft plastics in Watermelon Redflake and Gold Glitter. We have caught fish on other baits, but nothing has come close to these crazy-effective lures. These baits are hard to find in stores, so your best bet is online. So get out there and put that favorite lure into action and catch that fish of a lifetime. Till next time tight lines my friends.
