Jig & Fly Of The Month – February 2018

February 2018 Fly of the Month:

Clouser

Well, February is here and we need to get deep and slow to catch fish in our waters.  None better than the synthetic Clouser.  Whichever color you decide, you cannot really go wrong.  Work it slow and with short choppy strips, making sure to try and keep it running as deep as possible.  For deeper holes, I would use an intermediate sink tip line.  The deeper you need to get, the heavier the sink tip should be.  Good luck and Good Fishing Rz.

February 2018 Jig of the Month:

Polar Flash Jig

This is our jig of choice this month for all your winter species.  Lots of flash and you can tip it with a shrimp or squid or fish it plain.  Jig it slowly, making sure it contacts the bottom each time you work it. Best in creeks and deep holes in the inter-coastal waterway.  Works great for tout, pompano, jacks, ladyfish, redfish.  Just about everything throughout the year will hit this Jig.  We tie this in 8 exciting and attracting colors.  Thanks, Roan z.
