Putting on the Finishing Touches

Have you ever seen a beautiful sunset, the perfect day at the beach, or a big game fish on the line and wanted to share that moment?

Mickey Timms does this by applying paint to canvas to create unique, one-of-a-kind artwork that illustrates his appreciation for the coastal lifestyle.

Mickey has shared his work for good causes, donating paintings to Shem Creek Fisheries (a 501c non-profit) Chicks of the Sea fundraiser to benefit the Shem Creek Fleet and to Charleston Academic Magnet School.

He is a member of the Art Guild of Daniel Island and was March Artist of the Month displaying work at The Honey Comb café on Daniel Island.

The artist has sold his paintings at the Mt. Pleasant Seafood Market and the North Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market and has shown his work at The Coastal Carolina Senior Art Show and The North Charleston Art Exhibit.

Having always enjoyed being near the water – sailing, fishing or just hanging out at the beach – and having previously resided in Savannah, GA and currently living in Charleston, SC, Timms admits that “he can’t help but have salt in his veins.”
