[dropcap]T[/dropcap]rout, flounder and drum fishing is “on” for the coming early summer. The fish are moving out into the river basin. Your best bet is to work shoreline and creek mouths, throwing soft plastics either on a jig head or under a popping cork. DOA’s Deadly Combo is a great choice and very productive for all species in our region. The DOA Shrimp twitched along the bottom will also product some aggressive bites.

While working the river, always keep a larger rod rigged with the DOA Deadly Airhead Combo. The big drum will present themselves real soon. You need to be ready in case a good situation arises.

Rock will continue to provide topwater action and sub-surface action even though the “keeping” season is closed…but it’s a great catch-and-release fishery!

Dolphin and cobia will be on the beach when weather allows. Cobia action can be found by soaking live bait on the bottom around the inlets or by locating bait balls and finding them in there. Dolphin will continue to move closer as water warms, too.

Come see me for all your DOA products and call to book a trip full of fun!
