Fishing has been awesome and the forecast in July looks good. There are good numbers of kings already. We will be fishing on the shelf, in 100-300 feet of water, using lots of meat rigs with Spin Doctors and paddles.
We are catching a lot of fish on Dreamweaver cut bait rigs with a Spin Doctor especially the green sparkle spin doctor or the yellow sparkle Spin Doctor on Dipsey Divers and 200 coppers. Running the lures 50-100 feet down depending in the water temperatures makes a difference. 5-7 color lead with spoons works well too. We are finding that the best spoons have been Natural Born Killer and the DW Magic Man.
With the cold temperatures we have had there should be some good offshore fishing for trout as well. Fish the temperature breaks using spoons and trolling fast.
