Martin County U.S. Sailing Center Needs Our Help

Most of us are aware of the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy to the Northeastern coast. What you may not know is that Sandy also left her calling card here, in Martin County. The US Sailing Center (USSCMC), which is a not-for-profit community sailing center located in Jensen Beach, suffered significant damage to its grounds when Hurricane Sandy passed through the Treasure Coast in late October. The USSCMC is entering its busy regatta season, which helps to boost local revenue and tourism, and needs help in its rebuilding effort. The facility’s immediate need is to raise $25,000 to make repairs to the docks, beaches, walkways, electrical and irrigation systems, storage areas, and to resod the grounds. Any and all donations will help and all donations are tax deductible.
