Jig & Fly Of The Month — November 2017

November Jig: Standard Bucktail

Let’s go back to old school standard bucktail jig this month. We quick it up a notch with some accent flash and coated heads for durability.  These work for everything that swims. Check them out at the baithouse.  Cannot go wrong with a bucktail.

November Fly: Inverted Baitfish

This fly is one of my new all-time favorite flies that I have ever developed. It looks like a traditional baitfish pattern. It is not. The key to this fly lies in the hook.  We use a specialty bass style worm hook weighted so that it rides and slightly sinks faster. Tied in two colors depending on water clarity.
