caught this 27 1/2 inches Speckled Trout in Neuse River, North Carolina.
This trout was caught around 7:30 AM on the Nuese river, using a white super spook topwater. It was caught in about 2 foot of water around a baitball of menhaden. It was the first fish of the morning. It is my personal best trout. I was on my boat with my father grandfather and son. Each of us caught trout that day from 20 to 27 inches with this one being the biggest.
