Construction on the Golfito Marina Village in Golfito, Costa Rica is moving along swiftly. Currently, we have 300’ of the Main Pier installed with 100′ of new docks arriving every week.
Below is the schedule for the next five months.
Phase One which, will be completed within five months, will have:
52 side to berths ranging in size from 40’ to 150′ – to be completed within the next 2-3 months.
Shore Power installation will be completed by MES by August.
Water Taxi slips – 2-3 months
Fishing tournament pier and facilities – 2-3 months
150 Meter long marina promenade – Completed within 1 month.
Marina Village with shopping and restaurants – 5 months
Service yard with a boat ramp and 45 ton travel lift – 3 months
On-shore Boat rack storage for boats up to 35′ – 3 months
265’ fuel dock with high speed fuel pumps provide by Petroleum Marine – 2 months
Secured main entry with waterfalls, lagoons, bridge and a road that takes you to the docks. – 2 months
Marina Entrance plaza. – 2 months
Partial sandy beach – 4 months
Infrastructure including electrical, cable, wifi, security, water, sewage pumping services, fire and safety – 5 months
Construction will start on the Luxury Villas within a few months.
When completed in 2017 the deep water Marina will offer the largest Superyacht berths on the entire West Coast of Central America and provide the most state of the art facilities. All of the floating marina berths offer alongside dockage so the Captains have the option to moor bow or stern in. Every yacht, including the Superyachts will have adequate shore power pedestals, hi-speed internet and pump out facilities at the dock. We will be able to accommodate yachts of all sizes this coming September. If a vessel wants to berth in the Marina sooner we can accommodate easily.
We are well aware that Costa Rica will soon be a hot spot for the Private yachts, luxury yacht Charters and the Sport Fishing clientele so we have already made plans in advance. We will be working with the best yacht supply and provisioning companies in the World to offer five star service for the Private yachts and Charter yachts that are visiting Costa Rica. We have also made arrangements to have Customs and Immigrations officials on-site to ensure a smooth process upon arrival.
