Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show Makes Waves in Boston

What’s knot to like? A taste of summer for all ages at region’s premier boating event! The 2016 Progressive Insurance New England Boat Show returns February 13-21, 2016 with more— more boats, more brands and more speed—as dreams of summer fun heat up the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Visitors can escape the winter chill for a sneak peek at summer as they stand at the helm of more than 800 new boats. With more than 100 seminars, the show is a great destination for learners, dreamers and buyers of all skill levels and budgets.

This year, over 400 exhibitors will showcase new quad engine boats, sport fishers, luxury yachts, performance boats, and personal watercrafts, as well as dozens of sailboats and sailing yachts. Visitors can explore 450,000 square feet of floor space, taking their time to shop and dream over nine days.

Highlights of the 2016 show include appearances by Captain Dave Carraro, of National Geographic’s Wicked Tuna, who will be signing autographs and meeting fans on Friday February 19, Saturday Feb. 20 & Sunday Feb. 21st and the return of the Progressive Boat School, where boating beginners can learn the fundamentals of boat safety through daily clinics or virtual boating simulators while experts can show off their nautical know-how.The boat show also offers free seminars for DIY boaters, informational clinics for any type of boater and hands-on activities for young skippers and families.
