This month completes our fourth year as the publisher of Coastal Angler Fort Lauderdale. Our 48th issue will be hitting the street in the most uncertain of times. With a full two months to go, I’m not sure if 2020 should be a year to remember or a year to forget. One thing I do know is that the sun is going to rise tomorrow and the day after that. This leaves us with no choice, but to press on by continuing to publish the best free magazine we can. That said, now is a great time to talk with us about how we can help your business gain exposure among the fishing and boating communities.
On to fishing. November is a month of transition as we will begin to see the first cold fronts push through our area. Along with cooler temperatures, we’ll begin to see more and more sailfish action as each front passes and it will only get better from now through April. Wahoo fishing should be really good as there were some nice sized fish hitting the docks the last few weeks. The snapper bite has been on fire, especially at night with flag size yellowtails. Fishing on the deeper wrecks should be good too with some grouper and hard fighting amberjacks. In freshwater, both peacocks and largemouth bass will be biting as water temperatures cool. You can always catch a few on artificials, but live shiners will keep your rod bent all day long.
All the best to you and yours for a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving.
Keep reelin,
