The Tiger and Tiger Elite are some of the most trusted rods in the legendary Ugly Stik family. Now Shakespeare is engineering them with upgraded Ugly Tuff one-piece stainless steel guides to meet the challenges of saltwater, while retaining the dependability and durability they have become known for.
The Ugly Stik Tiger series features six casting models and three spinning models. Each comes with conventional reel seat and durable, fighting-length EVA grip with rubber gimbal.
Tiger Elite rods are distinguished by diamond-shrink tape over EVA grips, a feature appreciated by anglers who find themselves in long, hard fights. Both casting and spinning, these rods have actions designed for fishing from pier, jetty, shore or boat. Jigging rods have the same grips and gimbal and are designed with actions specifically for jigging and bottom fishing techniques.
All rods are backed by a limited seven-year warranty.
