The best time of year for FAD and Sea Mount trips is fast approaching! Both private and charter boats are gearing up for the incredible offshore action the sea mounts offer.  October through December are not the best conditions for the lengthy trips due to the rains and choppy seas, but all that has passed! We are now starting to hear a few reports of boats releasing eight or ten Marlin each day.

February and March kick off one of the most active times of the year for the sea mounts.  We will be fishing sea mounts and FADS anywhere from 90 to a 160 miles offshore.  Regularly catching and releasing unheard of amounts of marlin! The marlin fishing out there is the BEST in the world right now. Whether pulling lures or live bait, you can bet on a spectacular bite and show. Every release is different and just as exciting as the next! Serious marlin fishermen from around the world are now discovering what the Quepos sea mounts have to offer. If you have ever considered this hard core offshore adventure now is the time to book a trip.  I am looking forward to reporting the huge numbers caught over the next few months so stay tuned.

Until then, TIGHT LINES!
