The Seaport Hotel, the first hotel in Boston’s hot Seaport District, has completed major renovations transforming it into an entirely new hotel offering. All of the Seaport’s 428 guest rooms have been completely updated with luxurious amenities, adding many new décor, technology and guest preference features that modern business and leisure travelers alike will enjoy. In addition to the guest rooms, the renovation also encompasses the newly expanded and reinvented TAMO Restaurant & Bar. The renovation and upgrades are in line with the Seaport maintaining its commitment as a world- class destination, in a world-class city.

In order to provide guests with upgraded comfort and convenience, each room has been completely modernized with new wall coverings, carpeting and new furniture designed for maximum mobility for work and leisure. Guest rooms are designed in a classic yet contemporary style with artwork from local artists. Guests will sleep soundly on the brand-new triple-sheeted pillowtop mattresses, topped with luxurious Frette linens and fluffy pillows, perhaps even one of the unique choices from Seaport’s Pillow Library.

In addition to the luxurious amenities and dazzling city and harbor views, Seaport’s standard room features include: complimentary wireless internet access, Keurig coffee & tea service and mini- fridges.

“Whether you’re travelling for business or pleasure we want your stay at Seaport to be a memorable occasion,” said Jim Carmody, Vice President and General Manager of Seaport Boston Hotel. “This complete guest room renovation and re-creation of TAMO allows our guests to enjoy luxuries and amenities they wouldn’t at home, while feeling exquisitely comfortable in our new, fresh décor. At the same time, guests can be assured they will continue to experience our renowned first-rate and friendly customer service. This marks our 16th year and we are well poised and ready for our next decade.”

The Seaport’s newly expanded and redesigned TAMO features more space, new décor and a new menu; it will continue to be a hotspot for local residents, neighbors and hotel guests alike, delivering a unique culinary approach to Boston’s dining experience. Chef Robert Tobin has created a new menu reflecting “contemporary cuisine with a Boston accent.” Inspired by the city’s traditional roots, ethnically diverse population and restaurant scene, TAMO will offer everything from a quintessential New England lobster roll, to an authentic sushi experience to a playful take on the city’s food truck culture.

The new space will completely reinvent the look and feel of TAMO, creating a casually elegant and modern environment filled with light and additional seating. With two-story windows framing the new space, a fireplace and comfortable lounge and traditional seating, the Living Room at TAMO will invite guests throughout the day to relax, enjoy coffee, a cocktail, a snack or a full meal at lunch or dinner. TAMO’s popular bar will continue to offer harbor and streetscape views in an updated, social setting; TAMO Loft will offer more seating and space for private parties and during the summer season TAMO Terrace features stylish al fresco dining and an outside bar.

Situated on the historic waterfront at One Seaport Lane in Boston, MA, the recently renovated hotel is just minutes from the city’s finest shops, museums and attractions, offering guests a fresh approach to hospitality in the AAA Four Diamond Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center.
